First I cut two plain shapes out of wood. I used balsawood and MDF wood. Then in between I glued some plates on. The space between the two plates came handy for the electric wires. The mandible pits where made at this point too. |

Then I cut two plain shapes out of styrene and attached those to the top/bottom of the woodframe. The main circle was divided in 16 slices where the ribs was placed. This method I saw on Tim Ketzer's website and I tought it would work well. It did. The high sidewalls was next and holes were drilled for mounting point and for the electric aswell. If I should redo this, then I would add twice as many ribs for a better and stonger support. At the same time I began to plan all teh holes and pits too. There are needed room for those and I thought it would be easier to make that at this point in my process. |

Here you can see a wiew of the bottom. I've made the support ribs and is begun to attach the styrene onto the ribs. It looks a bit messy inside but anyway it cant be seen. |
