The E-wing from the expanded Star Wars Univers is my newest project. After I more or less build the first model, me and Frank desided to offer this as a kit. It was necessary to build most of the ship from scratch again. I rebuild the fuselage, engines and cockpit interior.

A sketch can be seen below, which was my inspiration. I think this sketch were made by Dough Chain. In my build, I have taken some creative freedoms in intrepritating the sketch. I want to have bigger guns on the wing and get rid of that stupid looking long barreled gun over the cockpit. I wanted it to have a bit more X-wing look to it. After all the ship is from the same shipyard, but is a newer model.

This is actually the "old" fuselage, which were made of styren. I just wanted to make a fun and wuick build, but after Frank saw this, we talked about offer this as a kit. That meant that a new fuselage was needed. I couldn't cut this up and make it mold friendly.
